The Above Means: In Search for the Forgotten Hero's of Bataan.
After much research and continued research into the Pantigan River Massacre
it becomes apparent from many sources, that there is a conflict of reports and
information, which has made this event in History even more interesting.
The main purpose of the Blog is to record what we find and also give the
facts that surrounds the massacre which means, looking at all the reports,
and troop movements leading up to the day of the event, and these accounts
will be investigated using various resources, American, Filipino, and
Japanese.
Our investigations will include on the ground searches of the area and trails
this will be a large task in itself, and this we know will not be an easy task and
will take a few years, and many visits to the site with the help of local and
Government bodies.
We know remains of the battle around this area will be found, and these will
be treated with the respect they deserve, and if we can establish the identity
then this will be a bonus as the remains can be dis interned and laid to rest
correctly and any artifacts given to the Bataan Museum.
